Dear Parents
Our first week of afternoon activities has gone very smoothly. We also played our first matches of the season, which were most exciting. The results follow.
Grade 6H return from their camp to Far & Wide today and Grade 6B leave for Far & Wide on Tuesday morning. Grade 6H have had a most enjoyable camp by all accounts.
The PTA will be holding their annual Movie Night on Friday 6th June. Advance tickets will be on sale towards the end of next week.
Teams are also already being entered for the PTA Golf Day, which will be held on Friday 4th July. Please note that Tee-off times are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis so please do not leave entering too late if you wish to play in this popular event. There are also holes still available for sponsorship. The PTA are working hard to ensure that this years event is even more of a success than previous years.
Please note that as Monday is a Public Holiday, Africa Day, school will re-open on Tuesday next week.
I will be away at the Heads Conference next week and will be joined on Wednesday by Mr Prashant Shah and Mrs Davidzo Chitengu, who will be representing the school as Governors and at the ATS AGM. We are all very grateful to them for taking time out of their busy schedules to represent the school at this important conference.
Day Boarding
Please note that only ‘Day Boarders’ and pupils with afternoon activities will be allowed to stay in the afternoons. All other pupils are required to be collected at the end of morning school or immediately their afternoon activity, such as ballet and modern dancing, ends.
School Fees
Please note that the deadline for paying 2nd term school fees in total so as not to incur the $100 administration fee has been extended to Friday 30th May.
