Dear Parents
Our last full week of school certainly has been full and exciting.

On Tuesday evening we welcomed parents interested in our ELP programme to a talk.  The programme was very well received with the only problem envisaged being an inability to accommodate all pupils wanting to be included.

The Grade 7’s have wonderfully entertained everyone this week with their performances of ‘The Best Little Theatre in Town.’ On Monday was the schools performance, on Tuesday at the Charity Performance and on Wednesday and Thursday evenings the public performances.  The production was outstanding, mature and thoroughly entertaining.  Our congratulations go to all the Grade 7’s, to the Grade 7 teachers, Mrs Castelin and Mrs Omarshah, the choreographer Faye Jackson, the Music Director Mrs Van Stryp and to Mr. Hartnack who supported.

Our grateful thanks also go to Mrs Karien Coetzee who has not only been of invaluable assistance with the costumes, props and back drops for all our productions this year, but has also undertaken the setting up of our new costume room in the converted container, which is an exceptional asset and which was shown to teachers this morning during an internal unveiling ceremony.

We still have a number of functions before school ends.  Our annual Carol Concert will be held on Monday in the School Hall at 6:15pm.  All pupils in Grades 3 – 7 will be participating and pupils should be at school, in school uniform, at 5:30pm.  All parents and friends are invited to the Carol Concert. There will be a retiring collection at the end of the Concert for charity.

Our Annual Prize Giving will be held on Tuesday at 6:00pm in the School Hall.  All pupils in Grades 5 – 7 are expected to attend and pupils in Grade 3 and 4 are welcome as well.  Children should be at school in clean uniform by 5:40pm.  All parents are invited to this, our most prestigious event of the year.

Final Assembly will be on Wednesday, 2nd December at 11:15am.  All parents are invited to the Final Assembly after which school ends for pupils in ECD to Grade 6.

Thursday will be the final day of primary schooling for our Grade 7’s ending with the Grade 7’s Leavers Dinner on Thursday evening.  The girls do not come to school in the morning.
