Dear Parents
Half Term was enjoyed by all and we are now into the second and most hectic half of the term.
The school looked very colourful today with all pupils wearing something orange in support of the KidzCan Orange Day. We also held our termly Inter House Bonds and Tables Competition this morning.
We are very pleased to inform you that Miss Aimee Hobbs, who is a Speech Therapist, is now attached to Bishopslea and will be working out of an office in the ELP block. She will be taking her own private patients as well as assisting Bishopslea pupils.
On Wednesday evening the PTA held their AGM followed by a Cocktail Party. The meeting was well attended and the Cocktail Party was enjoyed by all. Our thanks go to the outgoing Committee Members for all their efforts over the past year and we now welcome in the new Committee and wish them every success for their term of office.
Please note that the Grade 6 classes will be holding their ‘Cultural Evening Production’ on Wednesday 8th March and not on Thursday 2nd March as indicated on the calendar.
We will be holding our Bishopslea Invitational Friendly Inter Schools Track Meet next Wednesday afternoon. This will be the first Athletics Meet our team competes in.
Our Cross Country Team will be travelling to Bryden School this afternoon to compete in Bryden’s Friendly Inter School’s Cross Country. We wish them every success.
This morning we welcomed the Head and representatives from Arundel School who came to talk to our Grade 6 and 7 pupils.
