Half Term is here already. School ends today at 1:00pm and will re-open on Tuesday.
This weekend we wish all our Muslim pupils, parents and friends a Very Happy Eid Mubarak as their month of Ramadan comes to an end.
Last Friday we attended the Ministry of Education’s District Awards Ceremony at which we were very proud to be awarded a trophy for 100% pass rate by units at last year’s Grade 7 ZIMSEC Grade 7 exams.
Everyone was wearing very colourful footwear today as pupils and staff supported the Island Hospice ‘Takkie Day’. A total of $455 was raised.
School and afternoon activities returned to normal this week after Exam Week last week. Yesterday afternoon we played very exciting hockey matches against Chisipite Junior. Results follow.
We entered the Inter-Schools Spelling Bee hosted by Gateway School for the first time. Bishopslea was warmly welcomed by the hosts with Nokutenda Mujuru, representing the Juniors, and Dominique Bruce, representing the Seniors, coming fourth and second respectively in their age groups.
We wish Stephanie Chingarire, Aalia Mahboub, Chelsea Webster and Angela Mawere all the best as they have been selected to participate in The Mashonaland Hockey Trials this afternoon.
We also wish everyone a happy and safe Half Term.
