Dear Parents
Our first week of Afternoon Activities has gone well with the first tennis matches being played and enjoyed by all. Results are listed below. Early morning swimming has also started to get our squad swimmers prepared for the upcoming gala.
The CHISZ Heads Conference, held from Saturday to Wednesday, was most worthwhile with some excellent speakers including three from South Africa.
The Grade 7’s returned from their Camp to Tree of Life today where they all appear to have had a most enjoyable and informative week.
Last Saturday our Wildlife Quiz team took part in the Harare Inter Schools Wildlife Quiz. Our congratulations go to the team for coming second over all. They now go on to the Regional competition.
Our Marimba players will be taking part in a combined schools Marimba Concert hosted by Chisipite Junior next Wednesday evening. Hartmann House, Chisipite Junior and Bishopslea will be participating. This annual concert is always most enjoyable.
The 2015 Bishopslea magazine has been received and copies forwarded to all pupils. Our thanks go to Mrs Dahwa and her 2015 Magazine Club for producing the magazine, which will be a precious momento for all.
The PTA will be holding their Sponsored Walk and Fun Day next Sunday 25th September. PTA members will be available daily, next week to collect sponsorship forms with money collected to save congestion on the day of the walk. Stalls will also be available to parents wishing to sell goods and wares at a cost of $20 per stall. Tables, chairs and shelter for the stalls will have to be provided though on a bring your own basis.
School Fees
The date for payment of the third term school fees to avoid the $100 administration fee has been extended to 30th September 2016.
