Dear Parents
Afternoon Activities have now come to an end for the term and everyone is gearing up for the Grade 3, 4 and 5 production of ‘Down Memory Lane’. The school performance will be on Monday morning and the performances for parents, friends and family will be at 6:30pm on Wednesday and Thursday next week. Everyone is excited about this musical production. The PTA will be selling drinks before the performances.
Our Infants pupils have been practising very hard as well for their ‘Ball Skills Watching Days’ to be held next week. On Wednesday the ECD will be showing us all, including their parents and families, their ball skills, the Grade 1’s will show off theirs on Thursday and then Grade 2’s on Friday. All start at 11:00am.
Our Wildlife Quiz Team, Davidzo Chigwedere, Hannah Wilson and Dominique Bruce with Kimberley Ratisai as reserve, will be representing Bishopslea in the first round of the Mashonaland Wild Life Quiz tomorrow at St Georges College. We wish them every success.
This week our ECD pupils had a most informative talk by Mr Fischer, the ‘Bee Man’.
Tickets for the PTA’s raffle are still on sale, at $2 per ticket, as the raffle will be drawn at Final Assembly. The prizes include a deep freeze, four-plate gas hob, luxury food hamper and a RAM fuel voucher. Tickets are available from the office and will be on sale at the Grade 3,4 and 5’s production. They can be swiped for.

Our congratulations go to Danielle Murrell, Aalia Mahboub and Anika Mparuri who represented Mashonaland at the Inter-Provincial Hockey Tournament held in Bulawayo last weekend.
