Dear Parents
Firstly we wish all our Hindu pupils, parents and friends a Very Happy Diwali for tomorrow.
Exam Week has now come to an end. Normal lessons and afternoon activities will resume on Monday.
Next Week will be the final week of preparation for the Inter-House Gala that will be held next Saturday, 5th November. All pupils in Grades 3 – 7 who can swim a length will participate in the gala. Please would parents inform the office in writing of any pupils who will not be able to take part in the gala by Wednesday.
On Wednesday afternoon we welcomed all new parents joining Bishopslea next year at the New Parents Tea.
In yet another co-operation with the City of Harare, we have had the road markings in front of the school repainted. Our thanks go to City of Harare for providing the equipment and expertise while Bishopslea provided the paint and consumables.
For those parents who are not aware, we have not only co-operated with City of Harare with regards road marking painting but we also provide electricity to the traffic lights from our generator when there is a power cut. Both of these co-operations have been undertaken in the interest of traffic safety and the safety of our pupils and parents.
There was great excitement in the ECD class this morning as the whole class went on the bus to have ice creams. This was for the class that raised the most money for the Sponsored Walk.
