Dear Parents

We have had a colourful day with pupils wearing something orange in support of Kidzcan and bringing a donation to give them.  This is a most worthy cause that we support annually.

We also hosted the Head of Arundel who came with some of the Arundel pupils to give a talk to our Grade 6 and 7 pupils.

Last night the PTA held their AGM and Cocktail Party.  They were not as well supported as had been hoped but a new Committee was voted in and everyone enjoyed the cocktail party afterwards.

Our ‘B’ Cross Country team will be going to Sharon School this afternoon to compete in their Friendly Inter Schools Cross Country.  The smaller schools will be fielding their ‘A’ teams so there will be good competition.  We wish them every success.

We will be holding our Annual Open Day for prospective parents, next Wednesday, 18th February, at 3:30pm in the Hall.  All prospective parents are welcome.

Next weekend is Half Term already.  School will end on Thursday lunchtime after the Inter-House Cross Country.  School will re-open on Tuesday 24th February.

Inter-House Cross Country

Our Inter-House Cross Country for all pupils in Grade 3 – 7 will be held next Thursday, 19th February.   The events will begin at 10:00am.  There will be five races – U9, U10, U11, U12 and U13 starting with the U9’s.

All the girls in each age group will run together.  The first eight runners from each house will qualify for the Inter-House Championship Trophy and all pupils will receive points, according to their times, which will go towards the Inter-House Standards Trophy.

The event should end at approximately 12:30pm, at which time parents attending may take their daughters home.  The rest of the pupils will return to their classroom until 1:00pm.

All parents, family and friends are invited to come and watch and parents are invited to take part in the traditional ‘Parents Race’ if they wish.
