Dear Parents
Welcome back to all and especially to new parents.
We have had a good start to the term and although there are no afternoon activities this week we are holding hockey clinics to prepare teams for the matches that start next week.
Attached are return slips for hostel lunches and for Day Boarding as well as the Afternoon Activities Time Table and the Term Calendar.
Day Boarding is being offered as many parents are unable to collect their daughters within half an hour of school or activities ending. Day Boarding offers a structured afternoon including lunch, tea, rest, and prep supervision as explained in the attached letter. Please note that only pupils who are staying as day boarders may be left at school if not doing afternoon activities. This includes younger sisters of pupils who stay for afternoon activities.
We are going ahead with the bus service in the mornings and will start as from Monday, 11th May. The pick up point will be the Borrowdale Race Course slip road, which is off Borrowdale Road. The bus will leave the Race Course at 7:10am. Parents wishing to use this service must please fill in the Return Form attached. There will be a charge of $1:00 per trip. Books of coupons can be purchased from the office and a coupon given to the driver/monitor daily. It is important that we know numbers of pupils so please fill in the attached return slip. Allocation of places will be done on a first come first serve basis if demand is higher than the bus can accommodate. The first come first serve will be on sale of coupons. Please note that this service is a morning only service.
