Dear Parents
It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of one of our employees, Maidei Banda this morning. Maidei has worked at Bishopslea since 2003. During that time she has been in close contact with our pupils who were all very fond of her. Our deepest sympathies go to her family. Maidei will be greatly missed.
Our Grade 7’s have finished their first week of ZIMSEC exams and I am sure are looking forward to a break this weekend. They write their final exams next Friday.
Last week the PTA was a great success and raised $674.25. Our thanks go to all the Grade 1, 3, 5 and 7 parents who contributed.
We have had a full sporting week with tennis matches being played and our swimming team participating in their first Gala. Results are listed below. Our Fillies Tennis team travels to Barwick school today to take part in their Fillies Tennis Festival. We wish them every success.
On Wednesday next week we will be hosting our annual Bishopslea Invitational Gala. We look forward to swimming teams from Lilfordia, Lomagundi, Hellenic, Eaglesvale, Convent and Chisipite joining us.
