Dear Parents
We have had a full and very exciting week. Firstly, this week was ‘Book Week’ with all classes doing activities to promote reading for pleasure and which ended today with pupils coming very colourfully dressed up as their favourite book characters. Our thanks go to all pupils and parents who donated books to the library.
On Wednesday afternoon we held our Bishopslea Invitational Track Meet with our girls winning the Girls Section. Results are listed below.
Then on Thursday evening our Grade 6 classes performed their production of ‘A Cultural Evening’, which was highly entertaining and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Our congratulations go to all the Grade 6 pupils, Mrs Brooke, Mrs Holderness, Miss Kudita, Mrs Chirara and Mr Shoko.
The Eisteddfod started this week with our first entries, our Marimba Groups, competing. They did extremely well with the results listed below. Our choirs, musicians and sololists are busy rehearsing for their performances.
This week ends with our Cross Country Team travelling to Lilfordia this afternoon to take part in the Three Woods Cross Country. We wish them every success.
Next week will be another full week with The Ruzawi Cross Country on Wednesday, the St Johns Athletics Meet on Thursday and our Inter House Public Speaking on Thursday at 11:00am.

If a problem arises it should immediately be brought to my or a teacher’s attention.
