Dear Parents
The Term is rapidly coming to an end.  This has been an exceptionally short term.  However, the amount of work, events and functions have been the same, just having to be done in a shorter period of time resulting in everyone looking rather tired including the PTA Committee Members who have provided food and refreshments at all recent functions.

Last Saturdays Inter-House Sports Day was most successful with 6 records broken.

This week has been very full with the final afternoon of Interviews for the 2018 ECD’s, Grade 1 intakes being conducted on Monday, the Inter-House Public Speaking held on Tuesday morning, Parent/Teacher consultations on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, the Termly Board of Governors meeting held yesterday evening and the Infants Sports Day this morning.

The Infants Sports Day was a huge success and very well supported by parents.

The PTA also held their ‘Easter Cake Sale’ today, which we thank all parents who sent cakes and eats for.

The final sports fixture of the term will be the Inter-Schools Athletics tomorrow.  Our Athletics Team will be travelling to Ruzawi to compete in our Division of the Inter-Schools.  We wish them every success.

Next week we look forward to our Public Speaking team competing in the Inter-Schools Public Speaking on Monday evening and our Eisteddfod Concert on Tuesday evening.

Our Eisteddfod Concert is a very special Concert, which showcases Bishopslea’s music.  Our five choirs, soloists, marimba ensembles and musicians will be performing their pieces played and sung in the Eisteddfod over the past three weeks.  We also welcome a guest choir, Note to Note, who will be singing two songs for us.  Note to Note will be going to South Africa in the next few weeks to compete in the World Choir Games.  All parents and friends are invited to this special concert that will begin at 6:30pm on Tuesday evening.

School ends next Wednesday after Final Assembly, which will begin at 11:15am.  All parents are invited to Final Assembly.
