Dear Parents
Last Friday’s ‘Movie Night’ was a huge success and enjoyed by all. The weather was also very kind to us compared to last year when it was extremely cold. Our grateful thanks go to the PTA and Grade 5 parents for all their efforts.
We are hosting an EPSA U13 Hockey Festival tomorrow Saturday, which should be most exciting. Twelve schools will be participating.
We held our termly Inter-House Bonds & Tables competition this morning. This not only promotes the learning of Bonds and Tables, which are imperative to maths, but gives the pupils an opportunity to show how much they have learned them and to contribute towards their Houses. We look forward to the results and the presentation of certificates for each class.
Please note that as next week is Exam Week, there will be no afternoon activities except for matches.
Infants Sports Kit
The new Infants Sports Kits are now available from Glen Abbey. They look very smart and will not fade or stretch. All Nursery, Grade 1 and Grade 2 pupils will need the new kit by the ‘Balls Skills Watching Days’ at the end of term.
School Hats
Please note there are school hats available from the school office at a cost of $10:00 each.
PTA Golf Day
The PTA are busy preparing for their Golf Day to be held on Friday 3rd July. Teams are already entering and it must be noted that as there are limited Tee off times, team acceptances will be a first come first serve basis. There are still many holes and Tee boxes on offer for sponsorship and we are appealing to all for prizes and sponsors. Attached are the entry and sponsorship forms again. Please would parents forward them to all they think would be interested.
