Dear Parents
Book Week was enjoyed by all and ended today with the pupils beautifully dressed as their favourite book characters.

We were all wonderfully entertained by the Grade 6’s this week.  Their ‘Cultural Production,’ performed for the school on Tuesday and parents on Wednesday evening, was exceptional and hilarious.  Our congratulations go to all the Grade 6 pupils, the Grade 6 teachers, Miss Kudita, Mrs Chirara and Mr Shoko.

The Eisteddfod is now well under way.  This week our soloists and musicians competed and next week our five choirs will be competing at Twin Rivers School.  The dates and times are as follows:

Grade 1 & 2 choirs Tuesday 14th March    9:40am
Grade 3 choir Tuesday 14th March          12:10pm
Grade 4 choir Tuesday 14th March            2:00pm
Grade 5 choir Tuesday 14th March            3:00pm
Senior choir Thursday 16th March             4:25pm

We wish our choirs every success.

This week ended with our Inter-House Shona Word a Day competition.  Results and certificates will be presented as soon as they are compiled.

Cross Country
Our Cross Country teams continue to do exceptionally well with results listed below.  Congratulations go to Julie Tungamirai who won the Senior Girls event at the 3 Woods Cross Country last Friday and the Senior Girls event at Ruzawi. Julie has now won every Girls Inter School Cross Country event this season, which is exceptional.  Our A team came 6th and our B team came 26th overall.

At the Ruzawi Cross Country this week our A team came 7th and the B team 17th.
