Dear Parents
Our Grade 7’s will be writing their CHISZ Common Entrance Exams tomorrow at the schools of their first choice. All the Grade 7’s have all been working very hard for these exams and are well prepared. We wish them every success.
We have been experiencing water shortages in the ablutions during ZESA faults when the generator is shut down for cooling. This hasn’t been experienced before as municipal water has been available. This problem has now been rectified with the installation of water storage tanks in the roof above each of the ablutions.
The PTA’s Golf Day is next Friday. A number of teams have registered but more are required. Parent’s support of this most enjoyable annual event would be most appreciated.
We are also grateful to the Grade 5 parents who have volunteered to help on the day and who are donating drinks for both the raffle and auction.
Prizes being donated can be dropped off at the office as well as team registration forms.
All parents are welcome to the Golf Day Prize Giving and social next Friday, which will begin at approximately 6:00pm and will be at the Country Club in Newlands.
The PTA’s Cake Sale today was very well supported. Our thanks go to all the parents who brought cakes and to all who bought.
