Dear Parents
Half Term is next weekend. As Wednesday 21st February is a National Holiday, the Half Term dates have been adjusted to include the holiday as indicated on the Calendar. School will close next Friday, 16th February and will re-open on Thursday 22nd February.
Our annual Inter-House Cross Country will be held next Friday morning, before we break for Half term. All pupils in Grades 3 – 7 participate with the points from the first seven runners in from each House going towards the Championship Trophy and the points from every runner from each house, based on times, going towards the Inter House Standards Trophy.
The event will begin at 9.45am and should end at approximately 12:30pm. All parents are invited to come and watch and support. There will be a parent’s event for those who enjoy running.
We are very pleased to inform you that our 1st Hockey Team will be going on Tour to South Africa during the forthcoming Easter holidays. As always, the team and parents will be holding various fund raising events and activities to raise funds for the tour. Everyone’s support of their efforts will be greatly appreciated.
The Kidz Can Orange Day will be held next Thursday to raise funds for children’s cancer. Pupils are all asked to wear something orange in addition to their school uniform and to bring a donation.
This morning we welcomed the Peterhouse Girls Headmistress and representatives of Peterhouse, who gave a talk to our Grade 6 and 7 pupils and interested parents.
