Dear Parents
What a smooth, happy and positive start to the year our first week has been.  The ECD and new Grade 1 pupils have amazed us once again with their confidence on the first morning when they happily went into assembly as if they had been doing it for years.

Work on the three new ELP classrooms is progressing well and will be completed in time for the classes formally starting next term.

It has been a pleasure to welcome Miss Campbell and Miss Gibson to the teaching staff.  They will be teaching two of the ELP classes next term and assisting the eligible pupils this term.

It has also been a pleasure to welcome our Junior Mistresses who are joining us for their ‘Gap Year’ before going off to University.  They are Rutendo Mataruka, Ropafadzo Dambire, Matifadza Chikwava, Arusha Moodley, Kundainashe Makanza and Chantelle Zemura.

At yesterdays annual Grade 7 lunch we welcomed our Grade 7 pupils to their final and very special year and wish them all every success in their final year of primary schooling.

This morning we held our important ‘Meet the Teachers Meetings’ and thank all parents who attended.

The Afternoon Activities Timetable and Term Calendar are attached.  Afternoon Activities begin on Monday.

Pupil Information Update Forms were given to al parents this morning.  If not yet filled in please fill in and return on Monday.  This information is extremely important, as we require current contact details for parents at all times.

School Fees
Please note that school fees were due on the first day of term.  However, payment plans can be made on submission of Acknowledgement of Debt forms to the office, which are required, irrespective, if fees are not paid in full by the cut off date.  There is also a $100:00 Admin Fee if fees not paid by the cut off date.

Please note that date for payment of fees in full, after which the Admin Fee will be charged, has been extended to Friday 22nd January.

It is important to note that we do not accept any cash for payment at school.  Fee and other payments should be deposited into our Standard Bank Account and copies of deposits brought to the office so that receipts can be issued.  Our bank statements do not indicate who deposited the fees or who the fees are in favour of, so copies of deposit slips are imperative.  Unaccounted-for deposits are put into our suspense account until parents bring in deposit slips so that we can identify who made the deposits and issue receipts.

Our bank details are as follows
Standard Chartered Bank

Account Name: Ruzawi Schools Ltd – Bishopslea
Account No. : 8700201099800

Yours sincerely
