Dear Parents
Firstly, we would like to wish all our Muslim pupils, parents and friends a Very Happy Eid Mubarak as their month of Ramadan comes to an end.
There is much excitement today as Exam Week ends today and the pupils are looking forward to the PTA’s ‘Movie Night’ this evening. Ticket sales have been very good and there should be a full house. Please note that the movie, which is ‘Trolls’, will be shown in the Hall and not outside. There will be food and drinks on sale for parents. Pupils’ food is included in the ticket. The film will start at 6:00pm.
I attended the CHISZ Conference last week and was joined by Mr Prashant Shah on Wednesday. Mr Shah represented the Board at the ATS part of the Conference. It was most worthwhile with not only school issues discussed but included guest speakers from Zimbabwe, South Africa and U.K.
Everyone will be aware by now from Social Media that the dates for the end of the 2nd Term and the beginning of the 3rd Term have been changed to accommodate the elections. School will now close on Thursday 26th July and will re-open on Tuesday 4th September. We are re-arranging the end of term events and will inform you of any changes to the calendar.
Next weekend is Half Term. School will end next Thursday (21st June) at 1:00pm and will re-open on Tuesday 26th June.
