Dear Parents
The long weekend last weekend was much appreciated by all.
I will be away attending the CHISZ Heads Conference next week and will be joined by Mr Shah on Wednesday for the ATS Conference and AGM that is held in conjuction. Our thanks go to Mr Shah for taking the time to represent Bishopslea’s Board of Governors at this important Conference.
We had a busy sporting week of both netball and hockey matches with the results listed below. The week’s sport is not over yet as our Fillies and U13 ‘B’ Hockey and Netball Teams will be taking part in the Gateway School’s Endeavour Festival tomorrow morning and Bishopslea will be hosting an EPSA U13 Hockey Festival with twelve schools attending and at which our U13 ‘A’ Hockey Team will be playing.
With the assistance of one of our parents, Mrs Harrison and Jet Vac, we have been repairing the potholes outside the school as they were becoming dangerous. Our thanks go to Mrs Harrison.
Our thanks also go to Mrs. Mandiwanzira who very kindly organised food and drinks to be taken to our Grade 6 pupils last Friday who were on the bus when it broke down on the way back from Nyanga.
