Dear Parents
Firstly, our most grateful thanks must go to ZINARA for their most welcome input in turning what started off as a relatively minor road repair in front of the school gates into a major refurbishment of the whole road. What a wonderful and welcome difference it has made.

Next week is Half Term! School will end at lunchtime on Thursday 16^th February after the Inter House Cross Country and will re-open on Tuesday 21^st February.

The Inter House Cross Country will be held next Thursday morning. All pupils in Grades 3 – 7 participate with the points from the first seven runners in from each House going towards the Championship Trophy and the points from every runner from each house, based on times, going towards the Inter House Standards Trophy.

There will be a parents’ event for those who enjoy running.

The event will begin at 10.00 am and should end at approximately 12.30 pm.  All parents are invited to come and watch and support.

The PTA will be holding their AGM, followed by a Welcome Back Cocktail Party, on Wednesday 22^nd February.  All parents are asked to attend the AGM and are invited to the Cocktail Party afterwards. The AGM will begin at 6.00 pm and the Cocktail Party is expected to start at 6.40 pm.

Parents are asked to consider joining the PTA Committee. However, only nominated parents will be considered and nominees have to have been parents at Bishopslea for at least a year. Nomination forms are available from the office.

Our thanks go to all the parents and pupils who contributed to today’s special Valentines Cake Sale.
