Dear Parents
Everyone is gearing up for the PTA’s Sponsored Walk and Fun Day on Sunday. Please note that the walk will begin at 9:45am and not at 10:30am as indicated previously. Registration will be from 9:00am with every pupil required to register before the walk. Indemnity forms must be handed in at the registration desks unless previously submitted. Sponsored money and forms can also be handed in at the registration desks. After the walk there will be food and drinks on sale and the Grade 7’s will be entertaining everyone with the stalls. We look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday.
Our Tennis Teams have had a most successful week and our Swimming Team competed in their first Gala of the Season. Results are listed below.
Our Fillies Tennis Team travel to Barwick this afternoon to compete in Barwick’s annual Fillies Festival. We wish them every success.
Our congratulations go to our Wildlife Quiz Team, Davidzo Chigwedere, Dominique Bruce and Hannah Wilson for coming sixth out of ten schools in the Regional Finals of the Inter Schools Wildlife Quiz last Saturday. It was a closely contested quiz with only 2 points difference between each place and a couple of tie places at the top end of the competition.
Grade 6H went on a most informative and enjoyable trip to Aurex Diamond Factory where they saw how diamonds are cut and the jewellery making process.
Our Grade 7’s are now half way through their ZIMSEC Grade 7 exams with five exams to write next week. We wish them all every success.
Next Wednesday we will be holding our Bishopslea Invitational Gala and look forward to welcoming Chisipite, Convent, Hellenic, Lilfordia, Lomagundi and Eaglesvale Schools.
