What a full and entertaining week we have had. The highlight has to be the Grade 6 Cultural Evening performance. This year the theme was 'A Shona Wedding'. All who watched, including the pupils and staff at the school performance, and the parents and guests who watched the evening performance, thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our congratulations go to all the Grade 6 pupils, the Grade 6 teachers, Mrs Holderness and Mrs Brooke, and to the shona teachers, Mrs Chirara and Ms Kudita. Our thanks also go to all the Grade 6 Parents who put so much effort into making the performance and evening such a success. the costumes, decor, and food for the audience were all spectacular.
We also held our Inter-House Speaking with everyone attending being most impressed by the very high standards this year. Ourcongratulations go to all the pupils who represented their houses.
We also held our Inter-house 'Shona Word A Day' competition this morning and now look forward to the results.
To end the week we welcomed prospective parents to our Open Day this morning. It was a pleasure to tell them all about our wonderful school.
