Dear Parents
Exam Week has come to an end, much to the relief of pupils, parents and teachers.

Afternoon activities return to normal as from Monday.

Today’s PTA ‘Father’s Day Cake Sale’ was very well supported with hopefully many treats being bought for Dads on Sunday.

A group of Grade 7 pupils from both classes, accompanied by Mrs. Fick and myself, represented Bishopslea at the Ministry of Education’s District Merit Awards this morning.

Next Friday, is Half Term.  School will end at lunchtime on Thursday and will open again on Tuesday 27th June.

There is already a great deal of support for the PTA’s Golf Day, to be held on Friday 14th July.  Teams are being entered and sponsorship for greens and Tee boxes is coming in.  Parents wishing to sponsor or play are advised to put their entries in before all places are taken up.  This years Golf Day promises to be an exceptional one judging by all the effort that is being put into it.

The PTA is still appealing for prizes, though, as they annually try to present every team participating with a prize. Parents are asked to please donate items that can be used for prizes however small. As teams are made up of four players, four of each donation is requested.

Herewith a link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeMTfjTQnEG05BFA_HfKRzVK5zhEDGj... to an extremely quick survey that we are asking to answer.  There are only two options of which one is to be chosen.  The reason for this survey is to try to ascertain the most convenient time for parents to attend talks, presentations etc.  In the past they have been given in the evenings, which most parents found inconvenient.  The option is now 11:00am or 4:00pm.  Please take a few minutes to go onto the link and indicate your preference. This will help us with timings of talks that are open to the public as well as to our own parents.

The CHISZ and ATS Conference held last week was most interesting and informative and was attended by representatives of all the sixty-six member schools.  Representatives of the ATS Teachers Association, ATS Bursar’s Association and the ATS Parents Association also attended to report on their Associations’ activities.
