Dear Parents
Firstly, our congratulations must go to all involved in the hugely successful Sponsored Walk and Fun Day last Sunday. It was a most enjoyable, massively supported and well-organised event. The PTA and the Grade 5 parents really pulled out all the stops and kept everyone well watered, fed and entertained. The amount of work and effort that went into this event by the PTA Committee members really was incredible. They were well supported by the office staff and the Grade 5 parents as always. Our grateful thanks go to everyone who helped. Special congratulations must go to our Grade 7’s for their amazing stalls. The innovation, variety and entertainment value impressed everyone.
Our thanks go to the nurses from Belvedere Clinic who came yesterday and today to do all the measles and rubella inoculations. It all ran very smoothly.
Our Wildlife Team will be taking part in the Harare Inter-Schools Wild Life Quiz tomorrow morning at St Georges. We wish them every success. The following girls will be representing Bishopslea School : Tanley Strange, Isabelle Snater, Tino Dangarembezi and Carissa Smuts (Reserve).
We wish our tennis teams every success this weekend as they participate in the Bryden and Barwick Festivals.
Next week, on Wednesday we will be hosting our Bishopslea Invitational Gala where we wish our swimmers all the best.
