Dear Parents
Half Term is already here. School closes today at lunchtime and will re-open on Tuesday. We wish everyone a happy and safe weekend.
The Grade 7’s write their final ZIMSEC Grade 7 exams today. This will be their eighth exam so they will definitely be looking forward to the long weekend.
We held our Inter-House Shona Word a Day competition this morning using the new format of L1 and L2 words to make it more achievable for the L2 speakers and more relevant and taxing for the L1 speakers.
Our Infants classes have been busy rehearsing for their productions, which will be performed for the school on Tuesday morning and for parents and friends on Wednesday and Thursday evenings next week starting at 6:00pm. The ECD production is ‘The Christmas Mouse’ and the Grade 1 and 2 production is, ‘The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch’. There will be an entry fee of $1:00 per adult and the PTA will be selling drinks before the performance.
We will be hosting the annual Pisces Gala next Wednesday. Three teams traditionally compete in this gala. The teams combine a boy’s and a girl’s school competing together as follows:

Convent and Hartmann House
