Dear Parents
Exam Week has now come to an end. Normal class work and afternoon activities resume as from Monday.
Next week will be busy as pupils in Grade 3 – 7 will be busy practising, competing in swim-offs and swimming time trials for the Inter-House Gala next Saturday, 7th November. All pupils in Grades 3 – 7 who can swim a length of the main pool will be representing their Houses in the Inter-House Gala. Team lists indicating races that every pupil will be swimming in will be posted on the notice board next week.
Please note that the Individual Medley races will be swum next Friday at 10:30am as is traditional. If any Grade 3 – 7 pupils will not be able to take part in the Inter-House Gala on 7th November, please inform me in writing by next Tuesday.
Our Infants pupils (ECD, Grade 1 and Grade 2) are also busy practising for their Infants Gala on Friday, 20th November.
The staff of Belvedere Clinic came this morning to administer the Bilharzia and Intestinal Worm treatments to all pupils whose parents had not informed us that they did not require their daughters to receive the treatments. Our grateful thanks go to the medical staff from Belvedere Clinic who administered the treatments so professionally.
Our thanks also go to all the ECD, Grade 2, 4 and 6 parents who sent in cakes for today’s PTA Cake Sale.
Our Marimba Players will be taking part in a Combined Schools Marimba Concert, to be hosted by Hartmann House, next Thursday at 6:00pm. We look forward to the concert and wish our participating pupils every success.
Our ‘A’ and ‘B’ Swimming Teams took part in the Annual Eve Anderson Gala at Chisipite Jnr. on Wednesday, which is between Bishopslea, Convent and Chisipite and which has been held annually since 1956. It was a most exciting gala with results below.

There will now be a mums relay and dad relay race per age group at the end of the gala so please make sure you select your teams before Inter-house and let Mrs Nel know on the day.
