Dear Parents
We held our Inter-House Bonds and Tables competition this morning. Bonds and Tables are critical to a pupil’s mathematical progress and this termly competition highlights the importance of them as well as adding an element of competition and fun to learning them. Certificates for attainment and progress for each class will be presented after marking and results.
Our 1st Hockey team has a busy weekend ahead as they will be competing in the Lilfordia Day Night Hockey Festival this afternoon and evening and then in the EPSA U13 Hockey Festival tomorrow morning that Bishopslea is hosting. We are expecting twelve schools tomorrow at the EPSA Festival. We wish them every success.
Next week is Exam Week. There will be no afternoon activities next week except for matches. There will be Modern Dancing on Wednesday as the dancers are rehearsing for their show that will be performed on 9th July.
The PTA are busy preparing for the Golf Day on 8th July.
Parents wishing to play are asked to please submit their entry forms as Tee Off times are limited. The PTA is also appealing for Hole and Tee Box sponsorship and for prizes. Would all parents in a position to assist please do so to help make this another memorable Golf Day.
Grade 4T went to Gosho Park for a day’s Environmental Trip last week and Grades 4C and 4G went this week. All the classes found the trips very informative.
