Dear Parents
The rains, although most welcome and needed, have disrupted our first week of afternoon activities, although the muddy conditions have added an element of great fun to the cross-country practices.
Afternoon activities are not cancelled when it rains as cancelling causes huge disruption to many parents as well as the school. Activities are constantly disrupted by parents wanting to take their children home while others are unable to take time off work to do so. From Monday, parents wishing to take their daughters home during an afternoon activity time will need to obtain a slip, from the office, giving permission for a pupil to be taken out of an activity and present it to the teacher or coach taking the activity.
This is similar to our policy regarding parents taking pupils out of school during the mornings, when a release slip from the office is required to be presented to the security guard before a child may be taken out of the school premises at times other than the end of morning school. This is, of course, for the protection of pupils.
Parents’ understanding of these policies is greatly appreciated.
Our first fixture of the year, 1st, 2nd and Fillies Tennis against Ruzawi, scheduled to be played tomorrow, Saturday, has been cancelled owing to the rain.

Please note that the date of payment of 1st Term 2017 school fees to be paid in full without incurring the $100 Administration Fee has been extended to 31st January.
