Dear Parents
Half Term appears to have been enjoyed and appreciated by everyone. We are now into the second and most hectic half of the term.
We hit the ground running this week with our ECD and Grade 1and 2 pupils performing their most enjoyable and entertaining production of ‘Come to the Party’ and ‘Scarecrow,’ which they performed for the school on Tuesday morning and for parents and friends on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. They were outstanding performances showing maturity way beyond the years of the pupils. Our congratulations go to all the ECD, Grade 1 and Grade 2 pupils, to the teachers and to Mr Hartnack.
We held our Inter-House Bonds & Tables competition today with the combined results from the termly competitions going towards the Inter House Trophy that will be presented at Prize Giving.
Our swimming teams continue to excel and once again shone at this weeks Pisces Gala where they swam with Ruzawi and came second.
Our tennis teams are playing beautiful tennis with the latest results below.
Next week is Exam Week for Grade 3 – 7. There will be no afternoon activities except for matches.
We will be holding our annual ‘New Parents Tea’ next Wednesday afternoon at 4:00pm when we will welcome the new parents joining us next year and giving them a talk on Bishopslea and what they can expect over the next 7 – 8 years.
