Dear Parents

We are all still mourning Mr Shaya whose passing has so affected the whole Bishopslea community.  He was much loved and respected by everyone and will be sorely missed by all.

This last week of term has been full and exciting, ending with our Grade 3 – 5 production of ‘Ocean Commotion’ last night.  The production was exceptional.  It was thoroughly entertaining and an incredibly mature performance by our Grade 3 – 5 pupils.  Our congratulations go to all the pupils in the production and to all the parents for the incredible costumes and scenery. Our thanks also go to the Grade 3 – 5 teachers, to Faye Jackson for the chorography and to Mr Hartnack for all his help with the music.  Special thanks must go to Mrs Bosha for her musical production and direction.

Our ECD, Grade 1 and Grade 2 Ball Skills Watching Days this week were a delight to watch and were very well supported by parents.  Our congratulations go to all our ECD, Grade 1 and 2 pupils.

Final Assembly this morning was very special with many badges, certificates and presentations awarded, including the inaugural awarding of our new Good Fellowship badges. We thanked our Junior Mistresses, Miss. Muzoroza, Miss. Sikala, Miss. Hari and Miss. Zhanda, who are leaving us to go to university and wished them every success in the future. Their help has been most appreciated

We now do have Junior Mistress positions available for the third term. Applications can be delivered to the office or emailed to val@bishopslea.co.zw.

We also thanked our Bursar, Miss. Kadenge, who is leaving us for greener pastures, and wished her every success in her new position.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday.

Please note that the Third Term begins on 4th September.

Yours sincerely
