Dear Parents
Our cholera awareness program appears to be working as our facilities are exceptionally clean and well serviced and our pupils very aware of hygiene. We are looking at ways of maintaining the momentum in the long term including purchasing a high tech medium volume water purification system for drinking water.
Our congratulations go to Mr. and Mrs. Marais on the birth of their daughter on Monday. We wish them all every happiness.
Our pupils were given a talk by an SPCA representative this morning to encourage support for the SPCA and to enter the fund raising colouring competition.
Our Fillies and U13 tennis teams are playing their first matches of the term tomorrow against Ruzawi. We wish them every success.
The PTA annual Sponsored Walk Family Fun Day has been moved to the 4th November when it is hoped that the all clear will have been given for such events with regards to the cholera situation.
The PTA will be holding their Spring Theme cake sale on Friday 28th September. Grades 1, 3, 5 and 7 parents are asked to please provide cakes.
Our congratulations go to our Wildlife Quiz Team on coming sixth out of twelve schools in the Mashonaland Finals last Saturday.
We wish our pupils competing in their first Aquathalon on Sunday every success. There will be seven teams, each made up of two pupils, representing Bishopslea.
